Celebrating over 45 years!

In the early 1970’s, Roy and Gwen Smith opened the doors of the original Action Glass location at 7915 Edmonds Street with a few yellow vans and the commitment to provide - Satisfaction with Action. Over the years the faces have changed along with ownership but that goal of continuing to provide their valued customers with service that exceeds expectations remains the same.

Getting back to the roots of being a BC owned and family operated business, long time employee Doug Roth, has taken over the company with the continued vision of being the preferred vendor of choice in providing Satisfaction with Action that is unmatched in the industry.

DOUG ROTH, General Manager

Doug started his career with Action Glass Inc., in May of 1996. As an apprentice glazier, he was mentored by some of the best in the industry. Doug excelled in solving problems that stumped even the best of them. Doug continued to hone his craft, seizing every opportunity to learn. In 2003, Doug took on the roll of partner when he purchased shares in Action Glass Inc., and as a minor shareholder, he looked for ways he could make an impact on the company such as implementation of an industry specific workflow program. Over the years he slowly acquired more shares and wanting to leave even a bigger mark, he made the leap in 2017 from joint ownership to being the sole owner of Action Glass Inc. Doug looks to the future and how he can be a leader in better serving our clients in and around the Lower Mainland.

Leanne Roth

LEANNE ROTH, Business Development Manager

In May of 2017 Leanne opted to leave a job she loved with the Insurance Corporation of BC and join Doug in the ‘family business’. Having held a variety of positions within the Claims Division, the skillset Leanne acquired working as an adjuster, instructor and supervisor, has proven to be an asset with Action Glass Inc., as they work towards fine tuning policies and procedures, development of a new system and the building of and maintaining relationships with valued and respected clients. And yes, her most important job… mom to beautiful daughter Cecilia and ensuring she keeps Doug in line both in the office and at home.
